Why We Resist

Many supporters of Donald Trump placed their trust in him last November because they were angry at a system they believed deserted them. Trump took advantage of that by playing to their anger, fears, and biases. He provided simple answers, identified those responsible, and promised swift and forceful remedies.

Many continue to believe Trump will make their lives better. The powerful attachment they have to Donald Trump has enabled them to overlook the obvious, his total lack of character. They fail to see that people without character are incapable of thinking about anyone but themselves.

One day, they may recognize Trump for who he really is - the most corrupt con man to ever become president.
