About Us

Who We Are

Brookfield Resist is an all-volunteer group of peaceful, law-abiding Brookfield Wisconsin area citizens. 

Our group was formed in response to the call for national demonstrations on June 14 (No Kings Day event). After successfully completing that event with 830 demonstrators, the group agreed to join Indivisible and continue organizing demonstrations against Donald Trump and his administration as long as there is a need to do so. 

Members of Brookfield Resist are patriots who believe in America, not the regime that has taken it over. We believe in non-violent protest and respectful treatment of the American flag. We work with local police to ensure our events are safe and in accordance with local ordinances.

Brookfield Resist welcomes anyone who shares our beliefs regardless of political stripes to join our demonstrations. 

Our Mission

Our mission is to conduct street and overpass demonstrations in or around the City of Brookfield to make it clear to passersby, Donald Trump, and his administration that we will never accept the authoritarian takeover of our government, the destruction of essential institutions, programs, healthcare, and social justice reforms, the suppression of free speech, the political vengeance, the extortion, the cruel immigration actions, the incompetence, the arrogance, and the corrupt practices of the president and his family. We are committed to ensuring all passersby recognize Trump for who he really is - the most corrupt con man to ever become president. And we are committed to ensure Donald Trump will not become the new normal.

Brookfield Resist strives to identify and engage other organizations that share our progressive values and are willing to promote our demonstrations and work collaboratively on future actions.
